Virginia car almost it's whole life! This Dodge Dart Custom came from an estate sale out of Virginia. I have put a little over 2k miles on this beauty. It has 43k actual miles, runs, shifts & drives great! It has the bulletproof 225 slant 6 paired to a 3 on the tree manual transmission. The only factory option is air condition which does not work. Very bare bones old car! It still is in great shape for being 54 years old. The body is in great shape with almost zero rust. Underside, floors & usual Mopar rust areas are really nice. There is a spot of surface rust on the driver lower rear quarter but no rot, just a quarter size surface spot. It has had a re-paint in it's life as this is not an original color. The paint-job was okay but not perfect. It does clean up good & gets plenty of attention! The interior is in pretty good shape minus the driver side bench seat has the materal pulling off. It could be re-upholstered to fix this. Headliner, carpet, rear seats & most other items are in great shape for the age. Since my ownership I have replaced a handfull of items which include: spark plugs, fuel filter, air cleaner, alternator belt, starter, NOS Holley 1920 carburator, driveshaft u-joints, transmission fluid, engine oil/filter & mechanical fuel pump. The tires are a little old but still hold air just fine, drive great & has the original hub-caps. All gauges minus the gas gauge being a little shy, work. The carb could use a little work for cold starts but it always starts for me. Even on a 15 degree day it started up! The car is lowered on 3" rear lowering blocks & then lowered the front torsion bar bolts. Looks awesome! This car has been an absolute joy to own. I have used it as a daily a few times, taken it to several car shows, events & taught a few friends how to drive 3 on the tree! Clean Indiana title. I am not in a rush to sell the car at all. It will stay in my shop throughout winter. Not looking for trades. I have a lot of extra pictures. Come check it out in person, drive it & make an offer within reason in person!
